With over 300 cities involved, Explorathon is Scotland’s event for EU Researcher’s Nights – a Europe-wide public event that celebrates research. The Centre for Dementia Prevention Social Science domain will display their work around the experience of dementia.
Find out about the amazing things happening in research while you do your shopping, from your questions about the brain, to how robots are evolving, the effects of your DNA on obesity and why it’s never too late to learn a new language and so much more!
Join us for an extravaganza of demonstrations, hands-on activities, plus inspiring drop-in talks over tea & biscuits for adults at the Living Memory Association.

At 7pm there will be a play titled Human – following one nurses experience into dementia Explorathon Edinburgh: Human.
Explorathon is in partnership with Leith Labs, the Living Memory Association and Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre.
